Island Kayak Tours

Discover the beauty and charm of the Boston Harbor Islands as a sea kayaker on our new island-based kayaking excursions. Day trips in our kayaks are a perfect way to experience the harbor and islands at an intimate and personal level, as well as to see familiar areas from a new perspective.

Led by experienced park rangers (and on special dates, professional kayaking instructors) these low-impact tours combine striking scenery, park history and information, and paddling and safety skill development. All kayaking tours depart from : Grape Island, one of the most popular islands for camping. Please note the cost of the ferry to Grape Island is not included in the price of you kayak tour reservation.

Our kayak fleet consists of five single touring kayaks on Spectacle and Grape Islands. The kayaks are exceptionally stable and perfect for paddlers of all abilities. Tour group sizes are kept small to ensure personal attention to each kayaker. Kayaking is available on a "first-come" / "first-served" basis. NO KAYAKING ON TUES DAYS OR FRI DAYS.
